Another year has come and gone!  How did you document it?  I did a lot of blogging and a little bit of journaling.  I am just getting into digital scrapbooking though and decided to make a page that summarizes my entire year.  I got the idea from a similar layout in scrapbooks etc., a magazine overflowing with inspiration.  My thoughtful mother recently bought me a subscription and it’s just what I need to get going!
I am going to make lists for each month this next year and compile them on pages – one or two for each month. Then at the end of the year I’ll get them printed as a book.  Want to join me?  If you are interested or just want to try digital, I use My Memories Suite.  I have been using it for a couple of months now and I really love it.  It is easy to use, very affordable, and the newest version just launched!  You can read my review of V2 here.  V3 has some great improvements including the ability to make your pages whatever size you want.  It is also MUCH easier to find your purchases after you download them.
With code STMMMS54717 you can get $10.00 off the purchase of the software, making it only $29.97.  In addition they will email you a code for $10.00 of online credit where you can download kits such as the one I used to make the page above (A Fresh Start).
I’m excited for the new year to begin and look forward to documenting it month to month.  Meanwhile, I’m going to enjoy these last few days of 2011.  I’ve got one big project that I’ve been working on for forever that I’m hoping to finish.  Check Craftaphile to see if I get it done! (It will probably be my last post of the year)
