| Cardigan and Shirt: Target Skirt: Refashioned from a Blouse Shoes: Payless |
I bought that blouse several years ago and never even wore it once! I must not have tried it on before purchasing it, because it definitely was not flattering on me. Instead of donating it, I saw great potential for a refashion and with a few seam rips, the addition of an elastic waistband and a couple new seams, it is now a cute little skirt for Jayna. You can probably tell that I only used the bottom of the blouse, which means there is left over fabric for something else! I’m not sure how I’ll use the rest of it, but for now I just feel good that it’s finally gonna get some love! Turns out it wasn’t a total waste of money!
This was her Easter Sunday outfit. After church and a nap, we spent the afternoon and evening playing outside in the warm sunshine. Among her favorite things were the rocks, swing, and dandelions.
