Green Window Cleaning

Before tossing that newspaper into the recycling bin, wad it up and wash a window!

As I was sorting through our ever present mountain of mail this morning, I decided do just that. And it worked well.  Of course newspaper doesn’t hold up as nicely as a paper towel does when it gets wet, but it still got the job done.  And it didn’t leave lint particles like paper towels sometimes do.  And, it was free!

I haven’t bought Windex in years, my favorite window cleaner is vodka, (I buy the really cheap stuff) put it in a spray bottle undiluted, leaves no streaks and I seem to use half the sprays that I used with Windex….I love it and much better for environment and family.

Great! I know the paper and ink acts as a light abrasive to give you really clean windows.
