#5 : Toast Pumpkin Seeds
This is a must-try if you’ve never done it before! Save those pumpkin seeds and toast them. They are delish. And they smell really good too!
Plus, it’s pretty darn easy.
- pumpkin seeds
- melted butter
- garlic salt
- As you are gutting your pumpkin, place the seeds in a colander.
- When you’ve collected them all, rinse with warm water and spread on a cookie sheet.
- Let dry overnight.
- Transfer seeds to a bowl, measuring as you do so. For each cup full, add a tsp of melted butter and a pinch of garlic salt (a little goes a long way!). Toss together.
- Place seeds back on cookie sheet in a single layer and bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Stir halfway through.
