More Microfiber Love

in All Tips, Cleaning

Jayna is at the stage of wanting to do everything by herself, including inserting DVD’s into the DVD player. Now, I’m all about encouraging her independence-less work for me, right!? That is, once she has mastered whatever it is she is trying to do by herself. The problem lies in the learning curve. She has yet to grasp that we don’t touch the shiny side of her movies. They go from looking like this:

to this:

in what seems like a matter of seconds. So, to remedy my need for cleanliness and her need for properly working DVD’s, I’ve started storing a mini microfiber cloth in the movie cabinet. I have really fallen in love with microfiber in the last little while! If the DVD’s haven’t accumulated too many paw prints, a quick rub of the cloth and they are gone! For more stubborn finger prints, I lightly dampen the microfiber cloth with water and softly wipe them off, moving in a downward motion from the center, all the way around.

I’m hoping this quick maintenance every now and then will keep the babe’s movies in good working order for a long time to come!

Microfiber is also great for keeping stainless steel nice and shiny and for cleaning computer screens! Do you regularly use it on anything? Share in the comments below!
